TickToc’s New Profit Source

If this was happening on any other platform there would be people screaming, but because it is the Chinese government owned platform then you have to tread carefully because we would not want to upset them would we.

A recent report by the BBC has revealed that TikToc takes up to 70% of the proceeds from, in this instance, donations made to the Syrian refugee families.

These donations are resulting from children in refugee camps live-streaming for hours asking for donations, capitalism is alive and well everywhere, only some countries just choose to not acknowledge it exists or they just give it another name so it fits with their ideology.

The BBC followed a donation of $106 AUD, converted amount, which ended up with the recipient receiving just over $19, well that would make you want to donate, to TikToc’s bottomline.
